Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow hotel description>>

Very Impressive
Reviewer: Moscow User, London

Stayed here Sept 02 in a Park Suite. The hotel is amazing with a top notch spa, lovely outside terrace overlooking the Bolshoy Theatre and the Kremlin. The meals in the Armenian restaurant and sushi bar were excellant and on par with London prices, however the drink prices throughout the hotel were very high. The hotel is located near the other top hotels and a short stroll to St Basils and the Kremlin. We checked out the Metropol hotel while we were there, what a dump.

Comfortable hotel, great food

Excellent sized room and bathroom. Great food. Brilliant gym. Highly recommended.

Nice rooms, service not the best

Stayed here in November for 6 nights in one of their park view suites.
The first 3 nights we stayed in one of the suites on the lower floor.
It was spacious, but a little too modern for my tastes. We asked to move to one of the upper levels and we were much happier. The room was very comfortable and the bed and bathroom were excellent. A t.v. in each of the area of the suite (with CNN, Discovery, and BBC in English) and the bathrooms were huge and nicely appointed. The thermostats were a problem wherever we were- either one room was like an oven and the other freezing or vice-versa- could never get that correct. Even after the "engineer" came in, weren't able to get that corrected. As for the service- it wasn't the greatest. Russia still has a long ways to go towards improving their customer service skills. Even after I had previously upgraded through Hyatt's gold passport, the front desk personnel insisted they would only put me in a regular room rather than a suite due to my rate not being high enough. Only after I showed them (on their own computers!) that my rate was indeed for a suite did they finally acquiesce and give me the correct room (and only after being spoken to very condescendingly by the clerks). All in all a pretty good hotel. Rooms are very nice and service is spotty at best- especially from the front desk staff. The bell desk, however, was very friendly and all working there were very helpful.
